Terms of Service

Welcome to Quiz Royale. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the operator of Quiz Royale ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Quiz Royale mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and consent to the minor's use subject to these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that any information you provide is accurate and complete.

You may sign in using supported providers such as Google or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Notify us promptly at support@getquizroyal.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

One person may not maintain more than one account to abuse rewards, rankings, referrals, or promotions.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for lawful entertainment and educational purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not, and may not permit others to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.
• Use cheats, bots, scripts, emulators, or unauthorized third-party tools to gain an unfair advantage.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other users.
• Upload malware, spam, or unlawful content.
• Scrape, mine, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.
• Circumvent paywalls, virtual currency systems, energy limits, or anti-fraud controls.
• Sell, trade, or transfer accounts or in-app items outside approved flows.

The Service may include virtual currencies (such as coins and gems), power-ups, cosmetics, chests, tickets, XP, ranks, and other digital content ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value, are not legal tender, and are licensed—not sold—to you.

Virtual Items are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or the platform store's policies. We may modify, rebalance, or discontinue Virtual Items, game modes, or reward rates for balance, compliance, or operational reasons.

Progress, leaderboards, and rankings reflect gameplay under our systems. We may correct errors, remove fraudulent scores, or adjust rankings if abuse is detected.

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized platform billing systems. Prices, taxes, and available payment methods are shown at checkout and may vary by region.

Quiz Royale Plus (Monthly) is an auto-renewable subscription with a 1 month term. Quiz Royale Plus (Yearly) is an auto-renewable subscription with a 1 year term. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Battle Pass Premium is a non-renewing in-app purchase that unlocks premium rewards for the active Battle Pass season shown in the app. Battle Pass seasons, tiers, and rewards may change between seasons.

Gem packs, coin packs, cosmetics, and other consumable or non-consumable products are described in the Store before purchase. Benefits are applied to your account after successful payment confirmation.

Restore Purchases is available in Settings for restorable non-consumable items and active subscriptions tied to your platform account.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown in the app.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device settings (Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions).
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Quiz Royale Plus may include benefits such as increased battle energy capacity, faster energy regeneration, reduced power-up gem costs, ad-free play, daily bonus items, and other perks described in the app.

Premium benefits apply only while your subscription is active and in good standing. If a subscription lapses or is refunded, premium benefits may be removed. Battle Pass Premium unlocks are tied to the season purchased unless otherwise stated.

We may add, modify, or retire Plus benefits to improve the Service. Material changes will be reflected in the app or these Terms.

The free version of the Service may display third-party advertisements, including rewarded and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads are optional and only shown when you choose to watch them for in-game benefits.

Ad partners may use device identifiers and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. You can manage tracking permissions in your device settings where available.

You may create a display name, avatar selections, and other profile information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it solely to operate and improve the Service.

You agree not to post User Content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, infringing, or misleading. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate community standards.

Battle modes, friend challenges, tournaments, and live events rely on network connectivity and fair play. We do not guarantee uninterrupted matchmaking or event availability.

You must play fairly in competitive modes. Collusion, win-trading, sandbagging, or exploiting bugs is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of rewards and account action.

The Service integrates third-party services including authentication providers, cloud hosting, analytics, push notifications, advertising, and subscription management. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for external sites or services.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Please review the in-app Privacy Policy before using the Service or subscribing.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Quiz Royale is an entertainment and educational quiz game. It does not guarantee academic outcomes, test scores, or certification. Content is for general knowledge and practice.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR VIRTUAL ITEMS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your license ends and you may lose access to Virtual Items and progress, except where retention is required by law or platform policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms in the app and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.

Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any active subscriptions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.

You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting support@getquizroyal.com before initiating formal proceedings, where permitted by law.

If you downloaded the iOS app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA regarding your use of the iOS app, the Apple Standard EULA controls for that limited purpose.

Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. In the event of failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this section and may enforce it against you.

If you downloaded the Android app from Google Play, you acknowledge that Google is not responsible for the Service. Google Play billing terms apply to purchases made through Google Play.
